Mark Brown

Game Maker's Toolkit
Mark Brown is a video game developer and journalist. He is the creator of Game Maker’s Toolkit: an award-winning YouTube series about game design and development, with over 200 million views. He is also the developer of the game Mind Over Magnet. Mark is also a professional design consultant, gives guest lectures around the world to universities and game development studios, and has run several successful game jams. He has contributed to publications like EDGE Magazine, Wired, and Polygon.

Sam Barlow

Game Director
Sam Barlow is the founder of Half Mermaid Productions and a director and writer of games that push the boundaries of interactive narrative. Silent Hill: Shattered Memories psychologically profiled its own players; Her Story reinvented the detective genre for the YouTube generation, and Telling Lies explored the conflict between government and intimacy via lives lived over video calls. In 2022 he released his most ambitious project yet, IMMORTALITY, a horror story about 20th Century filmmaking, art and death. IMMORTALITY won the BAFTA for Best Narrative and was the first indie game to receive a perfect 10/10 score in Edge Magazine. Barlow is currently working on two horror projects, codenamed Project C and Project D.

Victoria Tran is the Communications Director at Innersloth (creators of Among Us), co-runs the indie game fund Outersloth, and is an organizer for Wholesome Games. Her other games work in community and social strategy includes Venba, Unpacking, Dwarf Fortress, Boyfriend Dungeon, and more.

Sara López Productions

Sara Lopez Productions is a composer of soundtracks for audiovisual media, expert in videogames and from Tenerife. It may not seem like it, but it's important, because she speaks very fast. An inveterate geek and lover of good vibes, Sara studied guitar at the Conservatorio Superior de Tenerife, the Bachelor of Composition at the University of Music in Freiburg, Germany, and the Master of Composition for Audiovisual Media at the ESMUC, Barcelona. Among his works, we can highlight the DCL credits of Blasphemous II ‘Mea Culpa’, the BSO of the videoMonsters' Act, awarded for best soundtrack at the Indie Spain Jam 23, and the last 13 levels of the video game Human Fall Flat. He is currently part of From The Moon and is working on Falling Stars and other celestial objects as a programmer and designer.

Víctor Moreno

Víctor has been a programmer for 15 years, split evenly between video games and general-purpose software. He has worked as an advergames programmer, founded a small indie company focused on mobile/F2P, and led a multiplayer PvP project for PC. He is also part of the Ensemble Podcasting team, a podcast about software engineering.
